Research Description
Dr. Welty's research interests are in applications of statistics to psycho-social, medical and environmental sciences. In particular, she is interested in the formulation of statistical models for outcomes correlated over time and space, and the associated challenges in estimating these models. Dr. Welty collaborates with the Psycho-Legal Studies program as part of the Northwestern Juvenile Project. She has experience with longitudinal data, survey statistics, environmental statistics, and spatial statistics.
